Pina Colada Smoothie (Okay, so this is more of a detox "dessert" but it is still healthy & soooo yummy!)
3 TB non dairy protein powder (such as brown rice & pea protein, hemp, or whey ~ if you do not have allergies) 4-6 oz filtered water 1 cup organic pineapple chunks (frozen is fine) small piece of avocado (1/4 of a small one) 1 TB coconut oil 1 TB shredded coconut 2-4 ice cubes
Add all ingredients to blender and pulse until smooth and creamy.
Strawberry Almond Butter Smoothie (Okay, I confess this is not technically a detox drink....BUT it is a good choice for those who are working their way up to a proper detox! It is gluten and dairy free!! And very satisfying! Enjoy!)
4 ice cubes 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen) 1 cup chilled unsweetened almond milk 2 TB smooth almond butter
Put ice cubes into a blender and blend until crushed. Add berries, almond milk and almond butter and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses & serve.
Weight Loss Juice
1 grapefruit, peeled 4 kale leaves or a bunch of baby bok choy 1 large carrot 1 medium cucumber ½ cup fresh parsley
Pass all ingredients through a juice extractor and drink. (Note: Grapefruit interacts with some prescription medication. Please check with your medical doctor before eating grapefruit!)
3 inch slice of peeled fresh pineapple 1 green apple 3 stalks celery ¼ red onion ½ peeled lemon 1 large carrot
Pass all ingredients through a juice extractor and drink. You can make a larger batch and freeze leftovers.
1 cup 100% cranberry juice 1 cup organic apple juice 2 TB aloe vera juice concentrate 1 tsp Green Kamut powder 1 tsp Barley Grass powder 1 tsp Carrot powder (or 1 carrot) 1 tsp royal jelly 1 banana 1 apple 1 orange
In a blender or juicer, combine all ingredients, and blend until smooth. Add water if necessary.
Berry green smoothie
Ingredients 1 large banana 1 cup organic raspberries 1 1/2 cups spinach leaves 1/2 cup water or more, depending how thick you like it 1 tablespoon ground chia seeds
Method Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Tip -- frozen organic berries are easy & convenient!
Tummy Soothe Juice
Ingredients 2 stalks celery 1 small cucumber 2 inch slice peeled pineapple 1 red apple 1 handful fresh mint 1 handful fresh parsley
Method Pass all through a juice extractor and drink. Tip -- this is an excellent intestinal soother when you feel bloated
Minty Green Delight
Ingredients 1 avocado, peeled, seeded & cut in squares 1 cup spinach 1/2 cucumber, peeled & cut in chunks 1/2-3/4 coconut milk Juice of 1 lime 1 scoop of Superfood Green powder (your choice) 2-3 TB raw almonds (optional)
Method Combine all ingredients in a juicer and blend until smooth. Tip -- "Amazing Grass" is my favorite Superfood Green powder! It also comes in convenient travel packets!
Hot Metabolism Juice (This is seriously one of my alltime favorite cleansing juices. It is excellent for those times when you have overindulged on vacation, etc. as it will rev up your metabolism and eliminate toxins. I recommend drinking this at least 3 x day for 3 days!)
Makes 1 serving
1 large ripe tomato ½ cup fresh squeezed lime or lemon juice ½ cup filtered water Handful of fresh parsley Handful of fresh cilantro 1 green onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, crushed 1/8 teaspoon cayenne 2 teaspoons olive oil ½ teaspoon chopped sea greens (or granules like kelp or dulse) 1 tablespoon chia seeds 6 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a blender until the desired consistency is reached.
1/3 cucumber, peeled & sliced 1 lemon, sliced 8 mint leaves 1 gallon filtered water
Place all ingredients except water, at the bottom of a glass pitcher. Add water, stir and allow to chill overnight or 8 hours. (This is perfect for anyone who desires to eliminate soda and sugars from their routine. This recipe is very alkaline which will assist a detox and balance ph levels.)

Makes 32 ounces! Cart this juice around with you and detox without even trying!
1/2 cup canned coconut milk 1/2 cup water 2 tablespoons whey protein powder 2 tablespoons freshly ground flaxseeds 1/2 cup organic berries of your choice
Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. This makes quite a thick smoothie, so you can add more fluid if desired!
